What is DMIT?
The word ‘Dermatoglyphics’ is a combination of word “Derma” means Skin and word “Glyphic” means Curve. It is a scientific study of skin ridge patterns found on the fingers of the human. It is a set of analysing system developed by Scientists, Neuro experts and related medical experts based on Neuroscience, Embryology, Genetics, Paediatric Psychology, Dermatoglyphics, Psychology through the method of observation, record, analysis and summarization in combination of clinical experiences.
Story Behind DMIT
Samudrika Shastra, an Indian Sculpture in 3102 BC reveals about the whole-body analysis which
includes fingerprint study also and the importance of figure prints.
It has been more than 200 years of research on Dermatoglyphics. The study of Dermatoglyphic was
invented by Dr. Harold Cumins. He is known as the father of Dermatoglyphics. It was initially used to
find the skilled sportsmen for Olympics Games in the 1970s.
Later on, it was being used to find the genetic disease, identifying victims, congenital heart diseases,
leukaemia, Coeliac disease, mental illness and many more diseases.
Dr. Julius Spier ((1887- 1942), he was chirologist and Psychoanalytic. He wrote a book “Hands of
Children”. His approach in his research was based mainly on his Psychoanalytic background and
Dermatoglyphics.
Based on Neuroscience, Embryology, Genetics, and Psychology, DMIT analyzes fingerprint patterns to reveal your innate abilities, learning style, and multiple intelligences.
Brain and Fingerprints Connection
In 1950 Dr Penfield point out the connection between brain and fingerprints. A noble laureate, Dr Roger Spierry (1981) established split brain theory. According to him Right brain and left brain are separate and each brain (hemisphere) side has its separate perception, concepts and impulses to act. His further research discovered that the fingerprints are as unique as the brain and facial features.
International Behavioural & Medical Biometric Society research over 7000 cases reports published
on Dermatoglyphics and based on it U.S, Japan, China, Taiwan and several other countries started
applying Dermatoglyphics to educational fields including other fields to enhance the teaching
qualities, improving learning efficiency by understanding each learning style through it.
Richard Unger Lifeprints (2004) had researched for more than 25 years on more than 50 thousand
